Overview
ClipsR is a video clip recorder for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used. The short version: your videos never leave your device unless you choose to share them, and we collect no personal data.
1. Data We Collect
None. ClipsR does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any external server.
The following is stored locally on your device only:

3. Permissions
The app requests the following system permissions. Each is requested only when first needed and you can revoke it at any time in iPhone Settings.

4. In-App Purchases
ClipsR offers a one-time lifetime purchase (“Unlock Forever”) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. ClipsR does not receive or store any payment details. For purchase-related questions see Apple’s purchase support.
5. Children’s Privacy
ClipsR does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app contains no features directed at children.
6. Data Security
All clips, projects, and preferences are stored in your iPhone’s local storage (Core Data and the app’s sandboxed file system). The trial period start date is stored in the iOS Keychain, which is encrypted by the operating system. No data is transmitted over the network by ClipsR.
7. Third-Party Services
ClipsR does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social SDKs. The only external service interaction is:

8. Your Rights
Because ClipsR does not collect personal data on any server, your data is entirely under your control:
- Access & Deletion — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
- Export — your clips are standard video files accessible via the Files app
- Portability — all exported videos are saved to your Photos library in standard formats

9. Data Retention
All data is stored solely on your device. No data is retained by the developer. Deleting the app removes all app data permanently.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be published at the same URL with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
